An official PV is released for the upcoming 2019 “Fruits Basket” anime. It features the voice of Manaka Iwami as Tohru and in addition, character visuals for the main characters have been released.
In the PV it hints at the Zodiac story and shows a peek at the main characters. On the note of the main characters, the visual feature them along with their cursed form. The main cast for the upcoming anime is as follows:

The story of the series takes focus on a high school girl named Tohru Honda. Having lost her parents and ending up moving from her grandfather’s home due to renovations, she now lives in a tent in the forest. One day on the way to school, she stumbles across the home of her classmate Yuki Soma and his relative Shigure Soma. Following their encounter and her meeting with the temperamental Kyo Soma, Tohru soon discovers that the Somas hold a secret rooted with the Zodiac story.
Directing the second “Fruits Basket” is Yoshihide Ibata, an episode director of the “Your Lie in April” series. Taku Kishimoto, who worked on the “Magi: Adventures of Sinbad” anime will be working on the series composition. Adapting the characters for the anime is Masaru Shindō, the character designer of “My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU.” Another staff member lister is creator Natsuki Takaya as the supervisor.
The original “Fruits Basket” anime was released on July 5, 2001, and ran until December 27, 2001, with a total of 26 episodes. It was produced by Studio Deen, directed by Akitarō Daichi and had three writers including Aki Itami, Mamiko Ikeda, and Rika Nakase. As for the character designer, it was Akemi Hayashi.
