It has been confirmed that the “Frame Arms Girl” sequel film will be premiering in June 2019. The film will be shown at Shinjuku Baltic 9 and in addition, an official website has opened with a PV and details on the staff, cast and even advanced ticket sales will be revealed. Its title is “Frame Arms Girl: Kyakkyau Fufu na Wonderland.”
On another note, there will be a special item to be released at the theaters that will screen the film. The item is a cup holder featuring Gourai sitting on a theater seat. Details on which theaters will be showing the film will be revealed at another time.
“Frame Arms Girl” was originally released in 2015 as a spin-off of the “Frame Arms” mecha line and is a model kit line produced by Kotobukiya. It had a manga released in December 2016 by Tsuneo Tsuneishi under the serialization of Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine. The anime adaptation of the series came about in April 2017 and ran until June 2017 with a total of 12 episodes. The series was directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi who worked on “Mayo Chiki!” and written by Deko Akao, the writer behind the “Arakawa Under the Bridge” series.

“Frame Arms Girls” is the name of the anthropomorphic robot girls also known as F.A. Girls for short and can be equipped with various armor and weapon parts. The story of the anime follows a girl named Ao Gennai who is sent a prototype F.A. Girl known as Gourai. Upon receiving the robot girl, she is tasked with helping her gather data on both battle and emotions.
As stated, “Frame Arms Girl” is a spin-off of the “Frame Arms” mecha line. “Frame Arms” is an original action robot mechanics created by Kotobukiy. The word “frame” refers to the core of the body that is shared by all robots, and “arms” means the outer armor to be suited on the Frame.
