A release dates schedule is confirmed for the upcoming “Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō.” In addition, the anime’s OP/ED song CD single and soundtrack album release date is also confirmed.
December 10 marks the anime’s debut and it will be premiered on the Amazon Prime Video Channel (Sky PerfecTV! Anime Set for Prime Video) and ANIMAX on PlayStation (PS4) at 19:00(JST). Following this, the anime will be aired on the ANIMAX TV channel (BS/CS, CATV, IPTV) on December 24.
Based on the manga by Chimaki Kuori, the anime has so far revealed a full cast. They include:

Kyoko/Equuleus Kyoko: M.A.O
Saori Kido: Inori Minase
Alicia Mii Benethol/Dolphin Mii: Megumi Nakajima
Scorpio Miro: Toshihiko Seki

“Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō” sets in the wake of a space-wide civil war instigated by Saga the Gemini Gold Saint. A new team of Saints comes together with the goal of protecting their goddess Athena and they are the first all-woman team of armored warriors. With the power of the Zodiac, they will defend their worlds and oppose their very destinies using their cunning, strength, and compassion.
With the anime’s OP/ED song CD single and soundtrack album, it will be launched on December 26, 2018. The four main voice actresses as their characters: Shoko (Aina Suzuki), Kyoko (M.A.O), Saori (Inori Minase), and Mii (Megumi Nakajima) will be performing the opening theme song “The Beautiful Brave.” As for the ending theme song "Hohoemi no Resonance,” it will be performed by Shoko and Kyoko. The soundtrack music is composed by Toshihiko Sahashi.
On another note, a message was posted by the OP song’s composer/arranger Yasuharu Takanashi on his official Twitter. It stated:
“Of course it is metal. Following Sailor Moon’s 25th and Kitaro’s 50th, I am so happy to be involved in the memorial work for Saint Seiya’s 30th anniversary. Thank you very much.”
“Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō” is a female character-oriented spin-off to Masami Kurumada’s classic “Saint Seiya” manga. It was serialized in Akita Shoten’s Champion Red since October 2013 and has so far released 11 tankobon volumes.
