Coming to Theaters: Tokimeki Restaurant ☆ ☆ ☆ MIRACLE 6"

“Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side” series’ spin-off “Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆” is making its way to the anime community as a film set for March 2018 in Japan. Announced by Konami and KOEI Tecmo Games on Friday, the film shall be a mark of commemoration for the 5th anniversary of the game.

The film will be featuring the two main male idol groups from the game, 3 Majesty and X.I.P starting from left to right.

For the 3 Majesty group cast, they include:

Daisuke Kishio will be playing as the “Prince of Sweets” Shinnosuke Otowa. Otawa is admired by many of his fans as a dreamy character but in truth, he is rather laid back regarding his public image and barely anything is known about him, making him as the “mysterious character” of the game.

Daisuke Namikawa as the leader of the group, Tsukasa Kirishima. His character is described as a university student doubling as an idol. Amongst the three he is noted as a brilliant all-rounder and is a sophisticated individual who excels in dancing and karate.

Tetsuya Kakihari is voicing the youngest and cool character of the group, Kaito Tsuji. Chosen after attending the Prince Rep. audition, he is not actually as he seems as beneath his cool exterior hides a bashful young man who has trouble expressing himself.

As for the X.I.P group, the cast consists of:

Kousuke Toriumi as the flirtatious and mature leader of the group, Kenta Fuwa. He is described as having studied singing, dancing and acting since he was young and sprinkles his conversation with English but takes his role as leader seriously.

Satoshi Hino is voicing the “wild member” of the group Kento Fuwa. From the three he is a former model who was recruited by Kyouya. His character is described to be a stoic and intimidating individual and a 4-dan kendo practitioner but has an unusual fear for dogs.

Takuya Eguchi as the voice actor behind the shortest member with a talent for singing, Touru Kanzaki. A childhood friend of Kento’s, he is noted to be candid in his opinions, apathetic towards and going as far as to dismiss others as idiots in habit.

“Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆” is a romance smartphone game developed by Konami’s LovePlus Productions department before it was transferred to KOEI Tecmo for licensing and distributing in August 2014.

The story of the series sets the player up as a newly-hired chef working at a small restaurant in Habataki City. In the time that she works at the establishment she inadvertently ends up meeting several male idols who are regulars of the restaurant and ends up in an entanglement of managing the restaurant and getting into more encounters with the idols.
