There are a lot of factors to enjoy when it comes to watching an anime film, the plot, the characters, and even the franchise on which it comes from. But one of the main things that almost any fan whether old or new, is the art of any film.

The anime opening is most often than not the first thing that viewer sees when they open an anime and it was leaves a general idea to the viewer on what the anime may be generally be about.

Anime openings and endings, the musical mark of any anime and something that many viewers remember the most about the show. One thing about anime openings though is that, not only do they bring out the anime, but they’re quite memorable as well.

Gundams, one of the oldest and most recognized franchise in Japan with various mecha fans to back it up and a new life sized model of one is up in production.

Known for her notable roles in the live-action Densha Otoko and Hana Kimi series, Japanese actress Maki Horikita announced her retirement from the entertainment industry on her official website on Tuesday.

One of the things that the anime community is well known for is for its embodiment of the statement, not everything is at it seems.

It was announced on Sunday in the official Dragon Ball Super website that Miyu Inoue, a 19-year-old Japanese singer will perform the anime’s ending theme song titled “Boogie Back.” This “danceable pop tune” ending song will debut on the April 2 episode.

On Saturday, the official website of the One Piece franchise revealed a preview visual of the upcoming anime-original arc “Marine Rookie” which will premiere on March 19. The arc will focus on Luffy and his companions traveling to rescue Sanji as well as featuring some new characters and new Marine soldiers.

So Dreamworks and Paramount’s live-action film adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s Ghost in the Shell will premiere this month in the West (and next month in Japan). With the trailer, visuals, and other promotions popping up, this is one of the most anticipated movies to watch this year.
